Invitation to the weltwärts partner conference in the Philippines
14 th to 18th November 2022 in Cebu City, Philippines
The second partner conference in the Philippines will take place from 14th to 18th November 2022 in Cebu City. Partner organisations from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Fiji, Timor-Leste, Indonesia and the Philippines and their German implementing organisations as well as the members of the programme steering committee (PSA) will be invited.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Programme Steering Committee (PSC) of the “weltwärts” programme, we are delighted to extend an invitation to you to attend the second partner conference in the Philippines. The conference will be organised by Karl Kübel Stiftung für Kind und Familie, APCM Freiwilligendienste and Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdienste (ijgd) in cooperation with their partner organisations Global Initiative for Exchange & Development (GIED), Vision Help international Care Foundation (VHICF), Justice, Peace & Integrity of Creation – Integrated Development Center (JPIC), Don Bosco, Bidlisiw Foundation und Quidan Kaisahan.
Information on the partner conference
Arrival: Sunday, 13th November 2022 or Monday, 14th November 2022
Start of the conference: Monday, 14th November 2022, 2.00 p. m.
End of the conference: Friday, 18th November 2022, 1.00 p. m.
Departure: Friday, 18th November 2022 (after the end of the conference) or Saturday, 19th November 2022 (departure depends on flight times).
The conference will be held in English.
Partner conferences reinforce the collaboration and networking of partner organisations from the countries of the Global South and the German implementing organisations. In addition, they offer an excellent opportunity to discuss program-related questions with representatives of partner organisations and the PSC.
Partner organisations can participate in the partner conference regardless of whether their implementing organisation takes part. Implementing organisations are also invited to the conference if at least one of their partner organisations takes part. It is recommended that cooperating implementing and partner organisations jointly attend the partner conference. For ecological and resource-saving reasons, it is recommended that implementing organisations combine participation in a partner conference with intermediate seminars and/or partner visits.
