Invitation to the Partner conference in Southeast Europe
October 3rd to 7th in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The first partner conference in Southeast Europe will take place from October 3rd to 7th in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Partner organisations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Serbia and their implementing organisations as well as the members of the programme steering committee will be invited.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Programme Steering Committee (PSA) of the weltwärts programme, we are pleased to invite you to the first partner conference in Southeastern Europe. This will take place from 2nd to 7th October in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Information on the partner conference
Arrival: Sunday, 2nd October 2022, from 2.00 pm
Start of the conference: Monday, 3rd October 2022, 9.30 a. m.
End of the conference: Friday, 7th October 2022, 12.15 p. m.
Departure: Friday, 7th October 2022, after the end of the conference. For participants who cannot have a travel connection on the same day, there is the possibility of another overnight stay.
The conference will primarily be held in English. There will be a translation in German.
Partner conferences intensify the cooperation and networking between partner organisations from the countries of the Global South (PO) and German implementing organisations (IO). They also offer a good opportunity to discuss programme-related issues with representatives of the PO and PSA.
POs can take part in the partner conference regardless of their IO's participation. IOs are also invited to the conference if at least one of their POs takes part. It is recommended that cooperating IOs and POs take part in the partner conference together. For ecological and resource-saving reasons, it is welcomed if IO combine participation in a partner conference with intermediate seminars and / or partner visits as far as possible.
Please note that usually only one person from each organization can attend the conference. The number of participants is limited. Therefore, a ratio for the distribution of participants has been worked out and will be used for the allocation of commitments. A precondition to participate is a direct connection of the individual participants to the weltwärts program.
