Invitation to the Partner conference in Germany 2023
16th to 20th October 2023 in Berlin, Germany
The fourth worldwide partner conference will take place from 16th to 20th October 2023 in Germany. All partner organisations and implementing organisations as well as the members of the programme steering committee will be invited.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Programme Steering Committee (PSA) of the weltwärts programme, we would like to invite you to the next worldwide partner conference in Germany. The conference is organized by the Indo-German Cooperation (in German: Deutsch-Indische Zusammenarbeit e. V. = DIZ) and its partner organisation Dream School Foundation.
Information on the partner conference
Arrival: Sunday or Monday, 15th or 16th October 2023
Start of the conference: Monday, 16th October 2023, 2:30 pm
End of the conference: Friday, 20th October 2023, 2:00 pm
Departure: Friday, 20th October 2023 (after the end of the conference)*
(*) for participants from the Global South there is the possibility of an additional overnight stay, if travel times require this.
The conference will be held primarily in English. If needed, a translation into Spanish and maybe French can be arranged.
Partner conferences intensify the cooperation and networking between partner organisations from the countries of the Global South (PO) and German implementing organisations (IO). They also offer a good opportunity to discuss programme-related issues with representatives of the PO and PSC.
POs can take part in the partner conference regardless of their IO's participation. IOs are also invited to the conference if at least one of their POs takes part. It is recommended that cooperating IOs and POs take part in the partner conference together. For ecological and resource-saving reasons, it is welcomed if PO combine participation in a partner conference with intermediate seminars and / or partner visits as far as possible.
Please understand that normally only one person from each organisation can attend the conference.
The number of participants is limited, the interest in participating is very high. Please understand that we do not have places for all organisations. If you are interested in participating in the partner conference, please note the information listed in the invitation letter and registration form below and register by latest 10th May 2023 .
