Since the middle of 2021, weltwärts exchanges have no longer taken place under the umbrella of weltwärts. Youth Exchange for Sustainable Development has since been offered through the African-German Youth Office.
Suspension of the June deadline for new applications of weltwärts-exchange projects
Later project starts due to the Corona pandemic
In addition to the already existing regulation to suspend all ongoing weltwärts-exchange projects until mid-June 2020, the coming application deadline of 30. June 2020 will now also be suspended.
New applications can again be submitted regularly by 30. September 2020. The earliest possible project start is expected to be 01. January 2021.
As the restrictions in connection with COVID-19 are still changing rapidly, especially regarding the time frame, short-term changes may occur.
