Urban Research and Advocacy Centre (URAC) is non-profit making organisation registered in Malawi (Business name 106734 and company Certificate No.14957. URAC vision is to contribute to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals, among the rural and urban poor communities in Malawi by creating space for community engagement through action research to provide data for advocacy and policy change. Areas of focus are: Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR); Urban Food Security; Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Community Livelihoods; Capacity building , Urban Health, Land Tenure & Land Resources Rights, and Watershed Management
